in your mail setings .. set that account as the default.

Hi David,

I have mailbox A and B. If I set A as default mailbox, reading mailbox B and click new email. sender is still B.

I am using outlook 2010 by the way

so it is defaulting to the account that you are reading.. you can always change the from address or if you ALWAYS want to send from A then disable the send settings from B
