Sync Outlook Contacts and Calendar dates with Android phone

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2013 on my Windows 7 laptop.
And Android 4.4.4 on my Samsung phone.

I want to sync changes done (Contacts and Calendar) on either device on daily basis. What is the option available?
1) I've tried with Kies. It does not work correctly.
2) I even purchased Android sync software. That also does not work correctly.
3) Once I put my SIM in a sony phone and synced with PC companion with my phone. Then I replaced my SIM in my Samsung phone, and it worked fine. But on a PC companion update it tries to find that Sony phone again. So this option is temporary. This works wonderful without cable also, but temporary.

Any help??

Sanjay,

As you note, many free products or the ones that come with the devices like Samsung do not work reliably. Kies, for example, was designed to transfer photos, videos, and get Android OS software updates. Even if they support sync, many features such as Outlook Categories, Outlook Notes, Subfolders, and other Outlook data is not supported.

You might want to try CompanionLink's Android Outlook sync utility. It's free for 14 days, and you call to speak to a technician who will help configure the Android Outlook sync. It handles two-way sync automatically.

Also, CompanionLink has been recommended by USAToday.com and other media outlets.

Disclosure: I work for CompanionLink.

New version of KIES will no longer sync with new Samsung smartphone.

You need a paid software to do the sync job like the one below.

Please clarify what the Kies version number is and which new Samsung smartphone you are referring to?

In fact, I tried various software to give good time to this problem and find out a solution.

I finally found gSynit, an add-in Outlook works splendid. I use Office 2013, and I have installed gSyncit. The moment I add a contact to my phone, then within a few minutes (if my laptop is ON), the update shows up on the laptop, and vice versa. Same goes for any event in my calendar. The moment I add/remove/modify an event in either my laptop or my phone, the same gets updated on the other. All this with basic setting. I do not have to sync (or remember to sync), after a change on either device. It just goes well.

Incidentally the answers submitted did not have the solution I wanted, but gSyncit worked really fine. I am really thankful to all Experts in Experts-Exchange helping always.

You can go to http://www.fieldstonsoftware.com/software/gsyncit4/ to install gsyncit add-in for outlook.
