Oracle issue Hyperlink

Hello
Within Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g, I created an analysis and added a column. Then I did this for that column:
Column properties > interaction > edit action links and added a link in this way (sample link)
https://prodgtpm.Hero.net/econ_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=GotoView&SWEView=SRR+Single+Rcrd+CSS+CG+addr+rawNum+View&SWERY=1&SWEHo=prod-gtpm.Hero.net&SWEBU=1&SWEApplet0=SRR+Single+Record+CG+addr+List+Applet+NonCorp&SWERowId0=1-6HJKG
when I am trying to click on the the link from the report itself, it giving this error:
Could not find 'View' named ' SRR+Single+Rcrd+CSS+CG+addr+rawNum+View.

I believe it’s the ‘+’ in the above hyperlink that’s causing the issue. How to do replace OR surround the ‘+’ within the herperlink before feeding it to the action link?

Hi,

First you have to verify what is the correct url by checking in the browser. If you are sure the + sign is the main problem creator and you have to replace it with the appropriate one then using sql you can very easily do that with the REPLACE function. I have placed below an example of that.

I am assuming you will be replacing + with -
You can replace - with any other string which you thing is right for your url.

This example is executed in sql plus

define url='https://prodgtpm.Hero.net/econ_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=GotoView&SWEView=SRR+Single+Rcrd+CSS+CG+addr+rawNum+View&SWERY=1&SWEHo=prod-gtpm.Hero.net&SWEBU=1&SWEApplet0=SRR+Single+Record+CG+addr+List+Applet+NonCorp&SWERowId0=1-6HJKG'

PDB1@ORCL> select replace('&url','+','-') new_url from dual;
old   1: select replace('&url','+','-') new_url from dual
new   1: select replace('https://prodgtpm.Hero.net/econ_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=GotoView=SRR+Single+Rcrd+CSS+CG+addr+rawNum+View=1=prod-gtpm.Hero.net=1=SRR+Single+Record+CG+addr+List+Applet+NonCorp=1-6HJKG','+','-') new_url from dual

NEW_URL
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
https://prodgtpm.Hero.net/econ_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=GotoView=SRR-Single-Rcrd-CSS-CG-addr-rawNum-View
=1=prod-gtpm.Hero.net=1=SRR-Single-Record-CG-addr-List-Applet-NonCorp=1-6HJKG
