Android sync files from and illustration synology
Hi,
To which folders should I sync on my android in order to have it s applications to pickup the files?
For example I have music which I can sync with Synology cloud station to the sd card of my galaxy s5 but where on the sd card should I sync them so the android app music will add it to it's list/view the music files?

I do know that. My question was where those exact locations are for those apps or where I can see them.

Btw, Synology cloudstation won't let me save on sd card.I selected sd card but it saved it on internal storage/ignored this setting.
Synology won't save to the SD card, probably because it has no access to the SD card (Android 4.4 security). Your only option is to keep using Internal Storage and hope one day Android or Synology figure out this security issue (probably won't).

So then Cloudsync is not an option. Are there other options to sync?

You're sure about Lollipop? When will it be available in Belgium?
Lollipop will have some SD card access restored in a more secure way (before KitKat, every app had full access). As I said, best guess, 1 to 3 months.
So basically, just put it where ever you want.
They're seen immediately, or if indexing is late, just start it one time through the file manager.
Other files > depends on the app itself
