Solarwinds - Node Name Pattern question

Node Name Pattern in Solarwinds, I am creating a new view at the moment and in the filter field I was able to put one word e.g. uk and it did filter it, however I need to put sth like uk OR xxx
Tried some reg ex but it did not work, it seems it is like an sql query. Any tips please?

I've just tested this and it works for me.
uk* OR xxx*
