Can we download and install Internet Explorer 9?

At our company we use CRM 2011 and have no plans of upgrading to CRM 2013. CRM 2011 requires IE9 and we have had an IE9x64 install.exe on our network drive for a few months now. For some reason this install.exe does not work anymore on any computer that we have. Is there any way to install to download and install IE9 for windows 7? Microsoft only seems to have IE9 for windows vista on their website which does not work either.
