HP SIM v7.4

One of my servers PSUs failed and HP SIM did not email us.
I have just upgraded to the latest version 7.4 but do not see any notifications of hardware failure on it.

Ideas how i can get this configured correctly?

We get emails when say the internet goes down or someone signed into ilo or sim as wrong user.

Ideas?

Is this a blade system?

According to this, you need the HP Onboard Administrator properly configured in order to report PSU failures in a blade system:

hp sim is on the server that the psu failed on...

so i installed the new PSU and still didnt get any notification by way of email or sntp...

Did the SIM detect the PSU change, but not send out an alert, or did it not detect it at all?

nothing at all.  i noticed it with my own eyes.
i had expected something when the new one was installed (now the latest version of hp sim installed!)...
