With 16 GB you can do pretty much but only for Standard version of Lync Server which doesn't vary much from the Standard version except for the High availability and couple other features

but for Standard you can do the following
1 GB ram / 1 Cores processors and 30GB Disk for Active Directory
6 GB ram / 2 Cores processors and 50GB Disk for Lync Front end
2 GB ram / 2 Cores processors and 30GB Disk for WAC (Web Application Server)
2 GB ram / 1 Cores processors and 50GB Diskfor SQL (For monitoring, archiving)

I'm not sure if your laptop can support publishing Lync services online because this would require 3 Public IPs for Edge server, 1 for Reverse proxy (ARR) but I'm assuming you don't.

In case you can then 2 GB for Edge and 1GB for reverse proxy should be enough.
