SQL Server 2008 R2/SSRS..Running in a ASP.NET VS2012 framework 4.5 environment..Reports running twice as long in reportviewing control?

I have SSRS 2008 R2 reports that run in a couple of seconds when run directly on the report server. This is acceptable. However when running thru the reportviewer in remote mode. This time doubles. Any suggestions on how I can reduce this. Running in IE vs Chrome makes no difference. This report is not terribly complex. Any pointers? Ideas? thought?

I was expecting a more in-depth answer..pointers etc...but if this is the best answer I can get....
The problem is that report control is hard to trace. Most likely you will get .5s difference for opening SQL connection between local machine and over the network. Pointers? It cannot be made faster.
