How big is the project ? I have a friend with some free time until the end of this year, who is looking to volunteer for a 501 C3 non-profit. He can volunteer 20-30 hours. Is this something that might work for you ?

I need someone to assist in converting a VB6 App that uses SQL server 2008 and embedded crystal report( there are actually several, but once the method is defined I can deal with the rest.

Generally upgrading the vb6 to .NET will require to completely rewrite the part which is dealing with Crystal because the components used in VB6 are COM object and by the license you cannot use them in a .NET application. I cannot help with this, but you can use this page to send your contact info : http://www.r-tag.com/Pages/contactus.aspx
I will explain the case and you will be contacted by somebody who will be able to help you. Again, this is a volunteer work and your company should be 501 C3 non-profit . If this might work for you please send a message ASAP using the link above.
