crystal report crosstab compare month

I have created a crosstab that compares 2013 to 2014, but I want to be able to compare month to month in different years.  For example, compare October 2013 to October 2014.  How do I go about that?

WHat do you want the output to look like?

Do you want the months for each year to be together.

Are you trying to show the difference?

Try this
Create 2 formulas
DataMonth
Month({DateField})

DataYear
Year({DateField})

Use those in the cross tab

You may also be able to put the date field in the cross tab row/column twice and change the group setting Set one as EACH MONTH the other as EACH YEAR
