Column B contains part numbers. Column C contains descriptions of those part numbers. both columns are dynamic as the part numbers in column B are pasted from another source.

Each cell in column C will contain one or more words that need to be searched. There are 23 potential words. (4 character alpha-numeric)

In column D the 23 words with descriptions exist in 23 rows.

What I am hoping to accomplish is that when one or more words that are found in each cell in column C that will highlight that word / cell in column D

Thanks for any assistance/suggestions

=(SUM(IFERROR(SEARCH(D2,$C$2:$C$5),0)))>0
