ASP.Net Database Driven Menu with permissions

I'm trying to find a sample/example of building a menu using c#, and css in asp.net. I want the menu to be driven by a database table (SQL Server) and be able to display menu items based on permissions. I'm using membership for permissions. Any ideas are appreciated.
