Long File Names Utility

I have a project to move a huge amount of data.  I am noticing that there are errors with "long file names".  Is there a utility that will allow me to identify and rename these paths?

Something very reliable, even if it is not free.

Cut Long Names can do this. You can opt to search an entire drive or add a folder to search for long file names. You can also specify file extensions that you want to search for: http://www.replsoft.com/cutlongnames.html

GREAT, and will it not only identify the long file names, but also allow modifying them as well?

Also, will it identify characters such as Trademark symbols?

Yes, it will identify the LFN files in red where you can then choose to edit the filenames. As for Trademark symbols, that shouldn't matter as the program searches by file extensions. You could theoretically search for *.* and it'll bring up all LFN files, including any files with special characters in the filenames.
