MVC app and F5 Load Balancing

What is the best F5 Load Balancing approach for following type of ASP.net MVC applications for performance reasons:

1- One that does not use session state at all
2- One that does use session state a little bit
3- One that uses session state a lot

i believe you are referring to normal session to session persistence for those having lot of session ( which in turn tied to connection),  so as to be more resource efficient (esp with many idle session) and try to reuse and stick to same server that handle it, leaving other server free to serve new session connection from new client etc.

So I am thinking of below.

1. Actually can be any of LTM standard LB like even Round robin or Ratio (member)

2. Session Persistence via src or dest address affinity
3. Cookie Persistence with  “session ID” and OneConnect

Just a note, if you use persistence based on client IP addresses this should be alright if the client has each an unique IP. However, most of the time, if you have loads of client requests with the same IP (like clients behind a proxy or CDN), then the better choice is with a session cookie persistence.
