Contacts gmail not on Android

Hi,

I have some contacts in gmail which are not on my android phone.

Please advise howto troubleshoot.

first check if you have gmail contacts synced under Accounts>Gmail
if you have then co to Contacts and in menu choose Contacts to display and check if also Gmail contacts are selected

It took about 15 minutes but works fine now.
