Hi

We have a SBS2011 server and the exhange logs are growing.  We use ToDo Backup but obvoiusly the logs arent being deleted.

My question, is it okay to turn on Circular Logging and if so how do you do it?

I have tried running a Windows backup and it doesnt move past "Exchange database consistency" - it was like that for eight hours.

What is my best method to truncate the logs (logs and mailbox sits on the same hard drive), please advise?

It is not advised to enable circular logging, especially, if you have only one copy. DB backup doesn't help after you enabled circular logging. Normal step to do it, is to goto Mailbox properties, enable circular logging and then restart your IS service. Then only it will take the effect.
