Shoretel Voicemail QoS

We recently installed Shoretel IPBX at our campus locations. We have voice vlans and QoS setup on all switches on the LAN. We also have the Shoretel server configured on a Windows Server 2008 R2 in our VMware environment. We have great call quality on all phone calls, but we have degraded voice quality on the voicemail. We users record messages or if someone leaves a voicemail message the quality is inaudible.

We have voice vlans and QoS setup on the links that connect to our VMware host severs.

Does anyone know if there are settings that i can apply to the Shoretel server to have better voicemail quality?

Is your shoretel server on your regular data vlan?  You will likely need to prioritize the server by IP rather than tags

After working with a Shortel engineer we were able to resolve the issue by migrating the voicemail server to its own physical server with dedicated NICs. We now have great call quality when voicemails are left and when greetings are recorded.
