Squid3 cache.log shows "ipcacheParse: No Address records in response to" messages

We are running Squid3 (3.0.STABLE19) on Ubuntu 10.04.4LTS and we have recently upgraded domain controllers to Windows 2012 R2. It was pointed to Windows 2008 R2 DC earlier. We have repointed kerberos and samba to the new 2012 R2 DC and proxy has been running slow since.

Noticed all those winbindd daemons are using up most of the CPU resources and cache.log are flooded with the following lines;

2014/12/16 17:10:59| ipcacheParse: No Address records in response to 'domainurl'
2014/12/16 17:10:59| ipcacheParse: No Address records in response to 'domainurl'
2014/12/16 17:10:59| ipcacheParse: No Address records in response to 'domainurl'
2014/12/16 17:10:59| ipcacheParse: No Address records in response to 'domainurl'

happening for both http and https sites as well. Surely one of you have seen this before. what can be done here?

PS: Internet is functional but a bit on the slow side. Thanks

I have fixed this issue by adding external DNS in our DNS forwarder which was missing after the DC upgrade.
