OSX Replacement for Windows Office Publisher

I am looking for a OSX Replacement for Windows Office Publisher. I use Publisher frequently, but am moving to Mac Yosemite. Currently using Publisher 2007 with Parallels 10. I have adequate photo apps (Lightroom, Photoshop Elements) for Mac, but need Publisher object/text/page layout capabilities. Importing Publisher files --> OSX not important.

Any Suggestions?

Adobe Indesign is the standard, but expensive.
