How to fix Certificate errors in Internet Explorer

Known and Trusted websites are now presenting Certificate errors; how can this be corrected?

I think that I just determined that it has to do with our proxy server.  Once I added the site to our bypass proxy rule I was able to go right to the site and the certificate error went away.
