Does CSV Extension require VMs to turned off

Hi,

One of my CSV presented to 3 hyper-V nodes of a cluster is out of space. So we are planning to Extend it.
I want your advises just to be sure of, what i am doing is right.

My question is:
1-)Do i need to turn off all VMs residing on that particular CSV before expansion or its possible during VMs online process?

2-)Do i need to turn off Hyper-V hosts for this activity?
3-)What additional things need to consider of for this activity?

How are you planning on extending the CSV?

We've actively presented and pulled storage to our clusters without any issue.

I suggest that before making any changes to make sure that there is a full and tested backup.

Then go for it.

Once the storage has been extended the partition within the owner node's Disk Management would need to be expanded.
