I have a corrupted index on a table with this error Index row entry for data row id (817, 15) is missing from index page 1009 of index id 2 of table 'sysattributes' in database 'sag'. Xactid is (10215

I was deleting from a table and mistakenly executed the delete statement twice which caused the error.

Firstly executing the same DELETE twice is very unlikely to have caused your issue. If the first DELETE succeeded and committed then the second should find no rows affected and nothing to DELETE. I think it's just coincidence - you likely have some other issue that happened around the same time.

Is there anything in the ASE errorlog?

The error message is telling you there is data in a table which isn't shown in the index. That's the good news - your data itself is intact.

Simply drop & recreate the index. This will block writes while the index is being recreated, and reads will be slower if they needed the index but now are table scanning.

I have already drop and recreated the indexes except one which I couldn't get to generate DDL so to recreate it. Please what can I do?

sp_helpindex on the index should give you everything you need to recreate it. If you're having trouble with it, post the output of sp_helpindex and I'll help.

It could be that it was defined as a constraint rather than an index. If sp_helpindex comes up with nothing, run sp_help on the table instead and post that output.
