Cisco Voice System - Hunt Group Notifications - No beep, just a blinking light

Hi,

I have a CIsco Voice system with a few hunt groups setup.

I would like to remove the notification beep each end user gets in their headset when receiving a hunt group call and replace it with a flashing light on the Cisco IP phone.

How would I do this?

I'm very new to this so let me know if you have any question.

It looks like I need to give each phone a new extension and set the Call Ring Settings Active and Idle to Ring.

Yes, because there is no way to change the beeping behavior based on how the call is being routed to an extension. So having 2 lines will allow 2 different behaviors.
