I need to create a database that will have nothing to do with online bill pay (because we have software for that).
However I want to imitate basic SAP automation of business processes to automate communication and increase efficiency in a way our competitors can't because they don't have resources or don't think outside the box.
Our competitors have a ton of staff, we don't. It will allow computers to send work orders to different departments geographically separated so manpower can take care of what needs to be done.
We have a bad review on bing, Effinghamministorage. This would prevent that, it would also allow for the different departments to automate all new customers people moving out. We are a manual system right now but with basic php/MySQL we will no longer be a manual paper system.
A plus would be emailing customers to remind them of bills, if software doesn't do this. Not going to reinvent the wheel.
This is within reach I'm going to give a presentation to the company, and bring someone else on board if they approve, boyfriend of a coworker who took some cs classes, with two hands on deck we can knock this out.
