Cannot find all Outlook items while Outlook is fully indexed

Hi all,

I am searching for the word sales in sent items, the result is many emails with this word in it, but I missed one email. When I seach the sent items I can see on december 14 an email which clearly has the word sales in it. It does not show up.

I searched like this: sales    and    "sales"

How is this possible.

Was your Outlook indexed after 14th December? Have you tried rebuilding the index?

Not especially after dec. 14. Isn't indexing an ongoing process? I tried rebuilding.

Did it help? My Outlook is missing some files in Search frequently, and usually modifying the mail, moving it to different folder and back, or rebuild the index helps.

I never found a solution on this one, perhaps any other suggestions?

If not I will try the latest Office 2013 (which I have not tried yet).
