Adobe Creative Cloud

My marketing department is upgrading to Adobe's Creative Cloud next month and I was just wondering if there is anything that different as far as support or installation that I would need to know as the help desk member over seeing this project.  As far as I can tell it is the standard install and but since its cloud based it will auto update. Any insight would be appreciated.

The short answer to this is:
It has never been as easy to install the software, keep updated and keep track of licenses.

If your marketing team is more than lets say, five people I highly recommend to apt for the Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams. It is slightly more expensive, but it has some very nice advantages like:

There would be someone who is the Admin and he/she has a special web based console to take care of distributing licenses and revoking when people quit.

There is more space on the Creative Cloud for file exchange and collaboration. 100 GB instead of 20GB.

The adoption of the Creative Cloud (for Teams) is something like this:

The Admin gets a go from Adobe soon as the payment has been made.

He starts by giving out the first license to himself. He will know from the console how many licenses he can distribute.

He sends out invitations to the coming uses through the console which they accept. When the user accepts he gets access to the CC and can start to download the software he needs. The user should start by downloading and installing the Creative Cloud application which will be the center of this CC life, and is positioned in the menubar of his computer.

After it is installed he can choose the software he needs and can at any time choose something he might want to get to know even if it is not required at work. ( I see this happen all the time and the most unlikely people are trying out software that they end up using at work).

This is basically it. You probably already know about some of the extra bonuses like included access to over 300 fonts, clip art and more.

Now, if you have ten or more people you might consider setting up a software server specifically for the Creative Cloud. That means that all software is only downloaded once but the users download from that internal server.

I hope this gives some sense of how easy it is to install and how great it is to have this software suite.
Please ask if anything is not clear.

The auto update is in the way that the user gets notice about the new update and chooses when he will update.
