Titanium BACKUP

I am not sure if I am using it wrong but I am trying to use Titanium backup and it seems to work as far as backups but there it seems to be impossible to restore .
I have a rooted nexus 5 .
When the OTA update 5.0.1 came out I could not install because i was rooted ( I think )
So i removed root wiped the data and updated .
before i did that I backed up all apps and data using titanium backup ,
launched the web server
downloaded the file to my computer
this is a 1.24 gb file named titaniumbackup-ALL.zip
After updating i reinstalled titanium backup
launched TB web server and downloaded the file back to my phone .
went to do restore but there are no apps to restore .
this zip file is valid as i am able to unzip it on my computer .
What am i doing wrong ?
Shouldnt i be able to restore my phone after downloading the file back from my computer ?

Thank you .
Makes sense but i would have expected the extraction to be done within TB as part of the copying .
i followed your instructions but now have android.process.acore every few seconds ..
thanks for your help .
