User guide for current Mac Pages?

How do I determine version of Pages & corresponding PDF User Guide?

Current pages version is 5.5.1 (2111)

Current Pages User Guide is Pages09_UserGuide.pdf

Default tool bar in user guide does not at all resemble current Pages version tool bar.

How do I determine correspondence between Pages and User Guide versions?

Pages 09 (a part of the iWorks suite) refers to the older version of Pages, 4.x. The application is inside a folder within the Application folder. Still works at least up to Maverics but reminds you about a new version.
The application icon is like an ink well.

5.x of Pages is installed directly into the Application folder and has an icon like a page with a pen in front. Works on Maverics and up.

5.x is continued on Yosemite, currently at 5.5.1. 5.x doesn't seem to have a pdf guide available but in the menu of Pages, Help>Pages Help (Cmd + ?)  there is a very good guide that fits to the application.

Thanks for good help. I am moving from MS Word 2007 to Pages.
