Adobe Flash Free Transform Tool

I guess i'm being really stupid here...

I'm using Flash CS6 and after i use the free transform tool i cannot turn it off.

Once on i cannot move objects as they just skew/scale etc.

I've searched eveywhere but cannot find anyone having same issue, so clearly user error here :(

When you are finished using the transform tool, press the V key on your keyboard. This is the keyboard shortcut for the selection tool.
