If cookies are stored in the user's PC how can I set a cookie when he is visting

myphpsite.com

then when he visitis

myaspsite.com

retrieve the cookie

Cookies are per site - siteA.com cannot read siteB.com's cookie for security reasons.
To pass the data to siteB from siteA you would need to visit siteA, get the cookie data and pass it onto siteB in the url for example.

Thats  what I am doing. I was just confirming that this cross sites issue was not viable.
