I receive the error above when attempting create or load a project in Visual Studio.  I believe I have all components installed. I am using MS SQL Server 2012 upgraded from SQL Server 2008. Visual Studio 2010 is installed. I have downloaded SSDT and installed manually, unfortunately I still receive this error.  Thank you in advance for your assistance with troubleshooting.

Can you confirm you downloaded the 2012 version of SSDT?

Right; there is a newer version (11.1.20905) which might fix your issue: get it from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/jj650015.

Also just to note. I was ultimately required to install SSDTBI_VS2012_x86_ENU.exe (SQL Integration Services for Visual Studio 2012) to finally resolve this issue.  My issue may have be due to initial SQL 2012 missing some components.  Thank you!
