Restore Apple Notes

Can I restore Apple Notes from Time Machine or Acronis backup.

I lost (deleted?)  an important note and would like to recover - as Notes are accessible from my several Mac/iDevices (iCloud?)  I am unsure where the Notes really are and how to recover.

The notes should be stored in your backup, at least. Check here

Solution is to navigate to ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes and restore:

NotesV1.storedata NotesV1.storedata-shm NotesV1.storedata-wal

iCloud
   All iCloud
   Notes
   Recovered Items

I see that 'All iCloud' and 'Notes' are the same files - If I restore Notes as above and using Mac Mini 'TopQuark'. where do the restored Notes go?

The attached NotesFilesBackup.jpg offers 'The files will be recovered to the original location'  with option to change. what is the original location - iCloud? If iCloud then I assume restored notes will be available to all iOS and OSX devices as now.

I know I am raising several questions, but I want to get it right - loosing Notes is not acceptable!

Copying does not seem reasonable as there are dozens of notes.

From: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204055 -

"To copy notes, open the Notes app at iCloud.com. Copy the text of each note and paste it into a document on your computer, such as a Pages or TextEdit document. Save the document to your computer."
