Just need a password recovery tool if this is even possible for Excel 2013

You can try the recovery services or perhaps one of the available tools to see if it works. The site below looks legitimate.

I have not used it because (a) I password very few documents and (b) I keep a record (which I recommend to everyone.

Thanks for the "tounge lashing" about passwords. The link worked. I should have researched more myself but I figured 2013 would be hard to crack.

I apologize if you think I was being harsh. I keep an encrypted file of all my passwords of all kinds to ensure that I do not forget anything. So as much as anything, I was reminding myself.

No need to apologize as I was kicking myself for not doing what you do. It was my own fault it's not like I didn't know that this could happen. It was being lazy on my part. I was not offended in any way. Thanks again for the help
