How do i set up social pane on the task form and have it display the notes for the "Regarding"

How can I get the Social Pane (Activities, Notes, Posts) to display on the Task form and have it show notes, etc. for the "Regarding" field?

I don't think there is a way to do that without resorting to development.
The social pane control doesn't apply to activities.

You could create a Quick View form for the regarding field (but you need a Quick View form for each entity type that you might use in Regarding) that shows the Social Pane and then add that form to the task form.

However, I would suggest educating users to click on the Regarding field where they can see everything to do with the regarding record.

Thanks for the response but it looks like the Quick View form is only for viewing and I wanted to be able to see the activities and enter notes right from the task form for the contact.  Do you know if there is a way to link the notes and activities to the task?

I don't think so without resorting to custom development.
