How to resolve SCCM client installation issue?

Have you tried disabling ALL firewall between server and client PC? Could be a firewall rule is blocking. turn off firewall on server and client PC and repeat test,

Do you have google desktop or similar software installed on these machines?

Disabled the firewall and checked - no luck
No software like Google desktop or Bing desktop

repaired WMI

@echo off
sc config winmgmt start= disabled
net stop winmgmt /y
%systemdrive%
cd %windir%\system32\wbem
For /f %%s in ('dir /b *.dll') do regsvr32 /s %%s
wmiprvse /regserver
winmgmt /regserver
net start winmgmt
for /f %%s in ('dir /b *.mof *.mfl') do mofcomp %%s
exit


then rename folder named "Microsoft Policy Platform" under program files

then installed sccm cleint... so it got installed

it worked by renaming the folder at program files folder
