Hi,

I was wondering does anyone know of any API's (preferably through .NET) to query a Hyper V Cluster (server 2012) such as getting the shared volume, settings of the VM (Cores etc).

I know there is something similar within PowerShell but I was hoping there is something available via .NET?

Thanks,
Alex

the secret Hyper-V APIs are available via WMI, actually the same APIs that PowerShell uses to access the system's Hyper-V engine.

regarding how to access WMI providers using .NET framework, see belw the MS official article.

hope it helps..
