Div Below Absolute Positioned Div

I have a div that is absolute positioned under my header.
The divs Below the absolute positioned Div Keep sliding up underneath the absolute Div.  How do I fix this?

I think you can create padding or margin for normal divs, another strange solution would be creating invisible normal div with size of the absolute div and positioned at same place.
Absolute positioning does what it was made for. Might be you need alternative method to achieve a wanted result.

I figured it out.  However, when I decease the size of the screan, the div below does not move up to stay under the top div

I guess there is not enough space  for block of divs could be because another div shifts down.
