I have a Cisco RV220W Wi-Fi router and I get excellent performance from it with my ThinkPad X230 with "N" Intel wireless NIC.

Upper end Netgear are very good as well.

The Cisco RV220W is a small business router + firewall.

The 1900AC is a beast, its open source ready and built to perform it has everything inside of it be a high performance router. the antennas are special its has a dual core processor and its even open source.  ( I know I said that twice ;) )

Both are dual band but the 1900AC has AC internet It doesnt say how much N speed for the RV but the AC has 600N and 1900AC so you get a new laptop internet will FAST, AC for the close devices and N for the ones further.
