How to determine usb plug sizes?

Is there some sort of a set of usb sizing plugs  that i can buy so that I can figure out what's what?  Pictures don't completely do it. Or maybe if there were images that could be printed with accurate sizing?
Thanks/

At this web site,
http://www.cablestogo.com/learning/connector-guides/usb
you may see and also purchase the connectors/cables.  I am not sure what your needs are and where you are located but you may also walk in to the discount computer stores and buy USB cables with many different combination of connectors for a few Dollars each.  If you are in Toronto, Ontario, I can give you specific store addresses to go to.
Let me know if you have any further questions or comments!

Good luck

See http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d6/Usb_connectors.JPG/400px-Usb_connectors.JPG

The graphic above is from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB and there are more images of the various connectors on that page

Your USB mouse and USB Keyboard will show the accurate size of a USB cable
This the USB 3 and USB 2 on my windows 7
USB 3 is blue USB 2 is black
USB 3 is backwards compatible with USB 2 cables
USB 3USB 2 and USB 3You only need to be aware of the end for the computer which are basically the same just a different colour, the other end will be different depending if it is for a USB HDD or Camera /  printer device etc  then this other end is different.
USB 2 and USB 3

Thanks I just didn't think of searching on usb and kit in ebay.  I'm not sure of what I've got until it goes right in.

USB plug all for the PC is the same, as I said the other end has nothing to do with the PC that belongs to your devices?
That end can be numerous depending on the hardware.
What you say here doesn't apply or make sense> I'm not sure of what I've got until it goes right in.<<  the other end of a USB cable cannot plug into the PC only the hardware it belongs to.
Ebay links shouldn't be posted as they expire. :P
cheers

Hi Merte,  I don't think lewiso has any problems with the connection into the PC.
The problem lies with the myriad of mini USB that are available.
lewiso won't know which is the correct size until they actually try it. (Chicken before the egg!)

Good point about ebay links - I probably should have included screenshots.
