Clear Browsing History Greyed Out Internet Explorer - SBS 2008 Domain

After rebuilding/upgrading a Win 7 PC we can no longer delete browsing history within internet explorer (11) - The option is greyed out

The user PC in question is a SBS2008 domain admin where the PC sits, no other users are affected, other users who aren't admins have the option no problem.

I've checked the local policy of the PC using gpedit.msc, all options were not configured, I tried switching them all to 'disabled' (then restarted) which didn't make any difference. The user was previously on a WinXP machine using Chrome and I.E 8 - There were no issues before we upgraded the OS

Guidance appreciated

Check the following  area in the registry while logged in as the affected user:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

Is there a DisableDeleteBrowsingHistory value in there and is it set to 1? If so, set it to 0, then log off and log back on to see if it fixes the issue.

Thanks for that!

I found the value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE after doing a search in the reg for DisableDeleteBrowsingHistory

All good now :)

Ah it was in HKLM. Glad I could help either way!
