2 - Server 2012 servers.  1 is running apps and is also the RDS server.  It handles all off the RDS roles except for the RD Licensing.  That is handled on the DC.  The DC is used for file server and all AD.  Everything was working fine before the holiday.  Now, a user can log into the RDWEB interface.  The apps come up, but when they click on any of the apps, this message pops up:

RemoteApp Disconnected

Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because an error occurred on the remote computer that you want to connect to.  Contact your network administrator for assistance.

I've checked the basics and everything is in order.  I removed the collection and added it back.  Still getting the error.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Any event log errors?  Have you checked the SSL certificate, if you're using one, to be sure it's not expired? Are the users internal or remote?

The certificate is a self made one and it is valid.  The event log errors indicate a few issues with the RDS structure.  What I didn't know when I posted my question last night, was that someone at the company "changed" some things on both servers that caused more than just RDS issues.  And when I say changed things, I mean registry things.   As it stands now, I have a Microsoft tech who's going to remote in and repair whatever damage this "person" did.  I was able to work out a few things, but not all.  I decided it was best to pay Microsoft and get it done ASAP, then to devote my entire day trying to resolve it.  And FYI...the person who did this...is looking for a new job.  But, Thank you for responding.  I am going to close this and give you the points :)

Wow - there's a story there that none of us want to have to experience!! It sounds like much too complicated a situation for us to resolve on EE. Good luck and thanks for the points.
