OSX/Parallels/WIN 8.1 Wanted: No screen saver / No password / No sleep

What User settings are required to prevent Mac OSX/Parallels/WIN 8.1 from ever (and I mean *never*) going to sleep and requiring password to wake. I have turned off screen saver, but after long delay (hours?) VM/PC requires password.

Why do I want this? After entering password, windows programs do not function as expected, if at all.

Hi.

First let's see if screen locking is really the problem. Lock the screen on purpose using winkey and L - do the programs continue to run after unlocking? It would be a surprise if not, because locking should never do any harm at all.

Found helpful very recent article in 'Windows Secrets' I subscribe to: 'Solving erratic Win8 system sign-ins' Issue was with multiple logins & Microsoft Account - which I did not want. Ultimate goal is to move to OSX; need to find program like MS Publisher; OSX Pages does not render images from copied (click & drag) web pages as Publisher does. There does not seem to OSX version of Publisher. Do you know of such?
