online resume, asp.net, MVC

Question: Do you know good online resumes?

I want to compile a list of features to develop my own version in MVC because:

- This is going to be a good practice.
- With MVC, it could be browsed better in smart devices.

Thank you.

MVC is an architectural style, and it really doesn't have anything to do with how your presentation is displayed to the user. That's the job of CSS (and to some degree HTML). You could make a great looking page with Notepad and HTML/CSS without ever having to touch ASP.NET.

Hi Kaufmed,

Yes, my one-page resume could be designed using HTML/CSS with a few hyperlinks (to view some demos). These demos projects are done in asp.net (in vb.net and c#). Depending on your response, I may just use these demo projects as they are or redo them in MVC for browsing in smart devices.

Question: How MVC architecture impacts (improves) browsing quality?

FYI, they all will be on a single website.

Thank you,

Mike

Well, it doesn't, per se. MVC helps keep your project organized, maintain nice separation of concerns, and, if done right, avoid dependencies. The "V" in MVC only dictates a layer that deals with presentation; it doesn't say what presentation technology you use. I can just as easily write a WinForms app that is MVC, but that doesn't mean that I'm using HTML/Javascript/CSS to craft the interface.
