Lync 2013

We have a Lync 2013 standard farm.  My Lync 2013 client does not have Call Forwarding Settings listed under tools.  Is this a limitation of the version of Lync or is it because something isn't enabled?

Yes, Lync standard does not include Enterprise voice and thereby, does not provide for call forwarding.

Thanks Steven,  can we use delegation from outlook with standard version?  Executive assistant wants to create Lync meetings for her boss she keeps getting message indicating she doesn't have access, even though she is a delegate (editor) of boss' calendar.

In order to enable delegates to schedule Online Meetings, the client policies need to be modified to enable the –EnableExchangeDelegateSync parameter. Running the following command against your client policy:

Set-CsClientPolicy –Identity [Insert Policy Name] –EnableExchangeDelegateSync $true

When looking at your client policy by running: Get-CsClientPolicy –Identity [Inswert Policy Name], you can see the parameter set:

After logging back into the Lync client, Delegates will automatically get created in Lync.  You can see this from the main buddy list, as new groups are automatically created for both the “boss” and the delegate.

Yes, thanks.  I just created a new client policy for this purpose but we are still having issues with some clients.  Thanks so much for your help.

Please try a Invoke-CsmanagementReplication and wait for a few minutes then have the client exit out of Lync and sign back in.  You may need to wait for replication to take place.
