What does this error message mean concerning windows media player

For many months I have had a vb.net program working on my computer using a windows media player dll.  Suddenly, the Windows Media Play will not work and I cannot add a new one to the project.  When I try to add a new WMP tool box item to the program I get a long error message which is attached.  Does anyone know what I can do to restore the WMP? Also, if I start a new project and add the WMP it is added properly without any error messages. error-message.jpg

I'd start by checking the "obj\Debug" output folder for your project. If there are any AxInterop* or Interop* files in there, remove them and then try re-adding.

Hi Carl,

That certainly seemed to eliminate the error message I was getting.  However, I still cannot play a video signal on the media player.  I think that is a different question, so I will accept your solution for the error message and post another question about none playing.  Thanks for your help.
