hi experts,

I have a blade center S model 8c6 and in that center I have 5 blades. The model JS12 I can console because they have the console button I can just select but I don't know or can't figure out how to console into PS700 and the PS701 blade. I need to change the ip addresses on these two servers but need to be able to console into them. Any ideas please. attached is a picture.

You must connect to enclosure management interface, propagate administrator account/password and IP settings to IMM modules of blades, then connect them.

gheist,
I'm logged on to the IMB BladeCenter Management Module and in there I see:

monitors
blade tasks
I/O Module Tasks
Storage Tasks
MM Control
and Service Tools.

if I go to blade tasks and select remote control I can see blade1, blade2 and blade3 under KMV owner and under that there is Media Tray Onwer and in there I see blade 4 and blade 5 which are the ones I need to console too but I can't. if I select and click on start remote control another window comes up but nothing happens.

Please use web interface. It has more descriptive names and help texts.
Blade IMM IP is set in ermm blade tasks? What do you think?

Also get latest firmware updates from ibm fix central in shade of recent SSL vulnerabilities (for both CMM and IMM)

in blade tasks you have admin password and IMM IP addressing. So assign them admin password and good IP configuration and connect.
Or if you use DHCP on same network assign static mappings for IMM MAC addresses.
