Windows Media Player in Windows 7 outputs audio but not video

Hello and Good Evening Everyone

I am needing help in playing back a video within Windows Media Player of Windows 7.  Whenever the clip plays back,  I get audio output without the video.  The format of the audio-video clip is MP4 or .mp4.  If more information is needed, please feel free to ask and I will furnish it as soon as possible.

I look forward to hearing from everybody regarding possible solutions to this concern.

           Thank you

Hello and Good Evening

Thank you so much for your shared input and especially the direct download link to DivX or  Following the successful download and installation of DivX, I simply right-clicked on the problem clip and selected Open with DivX.  To my pleasant surprise, the audio-video clip opened up without any problems.

Thanks again for a job so well done.
