Did you do the F6 to load drivers right at the beginning of the process?   Also the BIOS must support  USB drives.

Hi, no f6 no longer sued with windows 2008 as when it can't see hdd's you then have the option to browse to cd or usb storage to add the driver. Also this is a new server and support usb in the bios and i can see my memory pen with the driver software but it wont load.

Have you tried a different pen drive? Also, I notice that your existing drive appears to have been assigned the drive letter C:, which might cause drive letter issues later on.

Are you using the driver from Fujitsu's site? A generic LSI driver may not match any customisations made by Fujitsu.

Hi, yes used different pens and placed the official drivers downloaded from fujitsu website onto cd and tried to load that way but still no go. when pointing to the usb or cd with the drivers it lists the one LSI Embedded Megaraid driver click next which then it attempts to load the driver but after 15sec display a window no new devices could be found.

Since this is an embedded LSI, are you using the drivers that came from Fujitsu, specifically for that motherboard?   LSI stock drivers aren't designed to work on embedded motherboard solutions. The manufacturer of the motherboard tweaks the drivers and it is their job to supply them.

From the top ....
1. Wrong drivers, so check the specs on the motherboard.
2. Incompatible drivers, 32 vs 64 bit issue;  maybe BIOS on the controller or motherboard needs to be updated first?  Dated drivers.  Drivers for the wrong motherboard.  Maybe drivers already automatically loaded, but they're the WRONG LSI drivers?
3. Are you using either an OEM Win2K8 distribution specifically for your motherboard supplied by fujitsu, or the off-the-shelf standard non-OEM W2K8?  (No Dell win2k8 for example)
4. Munged file
5. Find an old floppy drive you can temporarily plug in, just in case
6. Leave a MSG to Fujitsu tech support

Hi,

1. when booting from the serverview suite cd supplied with the server it detects the lsi megaraid controller and can see the discs that i have connected and raid 1 + format. on checking the log it show's the location and folder of the lsi drivers on the cd which i have pulled over to usb pen and usb floppy drive and still wont load drivers. so i cannot install server 2008.
2. havn't checked the bios yet so will do.
3. using microsoft oem w2k8 r2
4. files are ok and from different sources.
5. got that and tried, same prob.
6. have reqistered with fujitsu forum and awaiting admin to confirm account. may have to ring them also to get help.

cheers
