Hello
Ive installed Wordpress on Windows server 2008 R2 using Webplatform Installer. All is well except the ability to access the site by typing domain.com (without www)

I have URL Rewrite installed (came along with the platform installer)
In wordpress Settings-General I have both "Wordpress Address (URL)" "and Site Address (URL)" set as http://www.domain.com

On external NS, I only have an A record pointing the servers external IP adress. Do I need to create additional records?

What is the correct way on setting this up?

Set up a DNS A record for both the www and non-www domains:

Host | Type | Data
---------------+-------+-------------
domain.com | A | 1.2.3.4
www.domain.com | A | 1.2.3.4

Replace 1.2.3.4 with your sites actual IP Address.

so I added an A record to the naked domain and now the site is accessible on http://domain.com
Thanks
